The First Baltic Martial Arts Olympiad

In March 31 of  2012 year the Sports Centre “Martial Asahi” in cooperation with Federations of Karate, Kobudo, Ju-Jutsu, Pankration, Taekwondo will held the Eleventh Open International Festival “Freestyle Fighting 2012”.  It will take place in Riga Sport Hall by address – Riga, Maskavas street 160.

 The festival’s major goal is to strive for gathering different martial arts styles and schools by unified rules and criteria. Adjustment of contacts between various clubs and a unification of people from the different countries.

Main objective of our sports center – physical development of children and youth. To protect yours generation from the negative influence of modern lifestyle.

13.00 - The opening ceremony of tournament.

Participating in the tournament:

 

The trainer must explain the rules of disciplines in which sportsmen take part.

 

 Participants fee

20 Euro per one discipline,

30 Euro - per two disciplines,

40 EUR - three or more disciplines

 

Team Kata – 30 Euro (It is paid separately)

Team Kumite – 50 Euro per team from 5 sportsmen and 30 Euro per team from three sportsmen (It is paid separately)

6-7 y.o: Open

8-9 y.o: -30 kg, +30kg

10- 11 y.o: -30 kg; -40kg ; +40 kg

12-13 y.o.: -40 kg; -50 kg; +50 kg

14-15 y.o.: -55 kg; -60 kg ; +60 kg

16-17 y.o.: -60 kg; -75 kg; +75 kg

18 y.o. and older: Categories of weight are formed after reception of all Application forms.

 

Female

Under 9 y.o.: -30 kg; +30 kg

10- 11 y. o.: -35 kg; +35 kg

12-13 y. o.: -45 kg; +45 kg

14-15 y. o.: -55 kg; +55 kg

16-17 y. o.: -60 kg; +60 kg

18 y. o. and older: Categories of weight are formed after reception of all Application forms.

2) 18 y.o. and older command consist from 3 persons

 

 

     6. Open tournament Team KATA:

 

 Team in each category consists from 3 sportsmen. Male and female together.

7.     Open Latvian Kobudo tournament (Nunchaku & Bo)

 

Fight consists of 2 rounds.

(First round – fight with Bo- 1 minute)

(Second round – fight with nunchaku – 1 minute)

8.     Self-defense (goshin-jutsu) (separately male - female)
